First public workshop in Turin

Saffron organizes a public workshop entitled “Radicalization in Europe. Media, social and prevention narratives” the 14th March in Turin.

Between 30 and 40 people were present to listen the presentation and a few interesting questions were asked (and answered !)

In addition to the following pictures, you can read the agenda or see the tweets made during the workshop.

Mid-term meeting

Times goes by, and the project is moving forward. We are now in the middle of the project, and we spent 3 days together in Turin on the 13th, 14th and 15th of March in a wonderful place chosen by DIST.

The first day was for an internal meeting.

The second day was dedicated to a public workshop organized by the project: “Radicalization in Europe. Media, social and prevention narratives”

Finally, the third day was the occasion to meet and get feedback from some members of the advisory board.

Heart of Darkness

We are very pleased to announce that SAFFRON social media campaign – #heartofdarkness – is on line!

Starting from the main web site – http://heartofdarkness.eu/ – you can follow our social pages on Twitter, Facebook and Youtube.
At the moment we uploaded a first video episode based on the “DISCRIMINATION” issue which will be followed by a number of conversational posts on Facebook and Twitter and by a following video-interview with  a practitioner who is going to present an alternative narrative on the same issue: later this week we’ll publish an interview with Tommaso Pozzano, the representative of an Italian soccer association working with second and third generation immigrants.

This scheme – video-episode/social conversation/video-interview will be repeated all along our social campaign in relation with different issues. Our next episode will be on “MEDIA WAR”.
